Why Swenson Leadership Works
Practical. Personal. Proven.
Most leadership training is generic, academic, and forgettable. Swenson Leadership programs are different — built from more than two decades of real-world leadership experience, not recycled classroom theory.
Our philosophy is simple: One Size Fits One. Every program is customized to your people, your culture, and your goals. We don't deliver one-off workshops. We build leadership engines - structured, scalable, and designed to last.
Every workshop includes tools from our 80+ Tools Library — practical resources your leaders can apply immediately when they return to work, bridging the gap between concept and practice.
Our Programs
Signature Leadership Program
Contemporary leadership for today's leaders.
The Signature Leadership Program is designed for current and future leaders, covering everything from communication and emotional intelligence to delegation, accountability, and performance management. It's a transformational experience that builds on what your leaders already know and integrates the frameworks they need to lead with confidence in today's workplace.
How We Work With You
We offer flexible engagement models to fit your organization's needs:
In-Person Workshops — Typically run as full-day or half-day sessions combining two or more topics (2-3 hours each). Conducted at your location, usually on a quarterly basis. Highly interactive, with pre-work, breakout sessions, and open discussion of your real organizational challenges.
Virtual/Zoom Programs — Focused 1-2 hour sessions, typically delivered monthly. Designed for maximum engagement and retention in a remote format.
Ongoing Coaching — One-on-one coaching for managers and executives on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Affordable, personalized, and immediately practical.
Employee Engagement Surveys — Feedback, analysis, and strategic recommendations to help you understand and improve your workplace culture.
Custom Curriculum Buildouts — We design a complete leadership development curriculum tailored to your organization's structure, culture, and goals.
The First 180 Days
Jumpstart your effectiveness in your new leadership role.
Most organizations promote their best people into management — and then leave them on their own. The result is predictable: good employees struggle, teams lose confidence, and the organization pays the price.
The First 180 Days changes that.
This intensive 2-day program is designed specifically for newly promoted leaders — or those about to step into a leadership role for the first time. It gives them the foundation, the tools, and the confidence to lead from day one.
What participants work through:
Defining your unique leadership goals, values, and style
Understanding the principles of leading people — not just managing tasks
Making the transition from team member to leader without losing the relationships that got you there
Setting expectations, establishing accountability, and building trust early
Avoiding the most common mistakes new managers make in the first six months
The bottom line: The first 180 days in a leadership role determine whether a new manager thrives or struggles. This program makes sure yours thrive.

It starts with a conversation. We'll spend time getting to know your organization, your leadership team, and your goals. In many cases we conduct an Employee Engagement Survey before the training begins, so the program is informed by real feedback from your people. From there, we design a customized curriculum and schedule that fits your team. Contact Eric directly at info@swensonleadership.com or (818) 461-1874 to get started.tem description
